the jacques townhouse

Since we're drifting about the 'Alice in Wonderland' mood, here's a treasure!!

Oh how I wish I was a Londoner...

Thank goodness for Susie of Style Bubble or I would not have known of this magical heaven called The Jacques Townhouse which, according to Susie, is London's first pop-up hotel that doubles up as an evening girly retreat with the most insane decor! This supposedly called pop-up hotel-cum-beauty parlour "soirée" venue, is a brainchild of hotelier David Carter who teamed up with Jacques Cider and closely oversaw this with Sophie Ellis Bextor (everyone sing: It's Murder on a Dancefloor...)! Whoah, like, whoah.

Regrettably, for me at least, this will not be a permanent fantasy as it will close its dreamscape doors permanently after early August *tear*

Step into the happiest place on earth :)

There is a Benefit Powder Room and Lash Couture bar where the girls get made-up...

... with a vintage dress-up box. Oooh...!

That's Susie Bubble over there on the left!

This is my favourite pose shot.

The concierge hands out a tea-towel map and a key to the guests. How delightful!

The entrance:

A Jacques Cider bar of course. What's a soiree without some cocktails?

All sweets and treats by Vintage Patisserie.. glee!

According to Susie, the set design is done by Cordelia Weston who is the team's creative designer. She did up the cake props and tulle pom poms (my favourite!!) on the set. I heart Cordelia...
